Professional History - Investment Banking​

• Citigroup 2011 

  • Began investment banking career as a summer associate in Citigroup's New York office. Received return offer for full-time associate position in their private equity clients group. Elected to apply to positions at middle market firms instead, where I [.... 

• GCA Savvian 2012-2016

  • Started at GCA Savvian as a member of their Technology and Healthcare groups. Completed private and public M&A and capital raising transactions for U.S. and Japanese clients.

  • GCA was subsequently acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021.

• Rise Ventures 2016 - 2019

• FocalPoint Partners 2019 - 2023 ​

  • Joined the firm as a Vice President and member of the Healthcare and Technology advisory groups. 

  • Contributed to most revenue in the firm among VPs and Directors. Spearheaded the creation of the firm's recruiting training and program for new analysts and recruited FocalPoint's first Chief Talent Officer.

  • FocalPoint was acquired in January 2022 by B. Riley Financial, a $2Bn public company at the time.

  • Promoted to Managing Director on accelerated track. 

• 2024 Founded Akos Advisors.
