Sam is a Senior Analyst at Akos Advisors. Prior to joining Akos, he worked in healthcare investment banking and corporate finance roles at Mertz Taggart and EY's Strategy and Transactions practice. He advised middle-market companies and private equity clients on valuation, diligence, and transaction execution across a range of healthcare subsectors.

Sam began his university studies at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), the #1 ranked business school in Brazil, before moving to the U.S. after receiving a full scholarship as a student-athlete. He graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Long Beach with a B.S. in Finance and competed as a collegiate table tennis player.
